Whoops! Al Pacino's Daughter Busted For DWI

Looks like not even the Godfather could get you out of this one. Julie Pacino, 21-year-old daughter of actor Al Pacino, was arrested early Saturday morning in Manhattan on suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated.

The former UCLA softball player and aspiring film director was busted after driving through a police checkpoint with, "bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech and the strong smell of alcohol on her breath," according to police sources quoted by People.

The of-age daughter reportedly admitted drinking three beers and smoking marijuana prior to entering the checkpoint.

Following the arrest, the elder Pacino rushed to his daughter's side from Los Angeles, where he is working on HBO's Phil Spector murder trial project. Julie was released late Saturday on her own recognizance.
