Elizabeth Banks Tells Jimmy Kimmel: 'I Directed A Porno'

Who hasn't wanted to be a movie producer at some stage in their life? Tons of money, great lifestyle, not much work. ... Jimmy Kimmel liked the sound of that, so he asked his guest, actress and producer Elizabeth Banks, what exactly it is that producers do. Do they do any real work at all?

Banks, who was talking about the new movie she's just produced, "Pitch Perfect" -- "a very funny comedy set in the very competitive world of collegiate a cappella singing" -- explained to the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (Weeknights, 12 a.m. EST on ABC) host that yes, she worked hard on the set.

"I directed a porno." What?! "A fake porno," she clarifed, "for the background of a scene in a frat house."

Banks said she stepped up the plate as "it just felt gross" to have a guy ask the ladies of Baton Rouge, Louisiana if they wanted to turn up in their undies and be part of a porno flick (albeit a fake one). The final product, she assured Kimmel, is "a true fetish piece," featuring two women doing housework.

There's even, she teased, a duster in it.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights, 12 a.m. EST on ABC.

Ellen DeGeneres Tells The Bachelor Ben Flajnik: Courtney "Was Playing You"

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

If you missed Monday's episode of The Bachelor, then you missed a good two hours of drama, tears, surprises andâ€"thanks to Courtneyâ€"witnessing how manipulative a woman can be when competing for love.

Ellen DeGeneres seemed to catch last night's show, and she had a few words to share with Ben Flajnik (airing tomorrow) about that model from Santa Monica...

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

"Speaking of reassurance, last week…Courtney," Ellen said to Ben. "She manipulated you to try and get that rose because she said, 'Oh, I don't know how I feel.' Then you went and got the rose and gave it to her. That was not right."

And judging by the amount of applause, the audience agreed with her.

Ellen continued with, "She may be a lovely person and you're probably engaged to her, but the thing is, the way that it was edited she came off not nice…and I could be wrong. It's not fair to judge someone like that, but she was just playing you...man. She was playing you. Saying all the things you wanted to hear."

Word, sista! Unfortunately, Ben can't comment on any of this because the show is still going on (he didn't even give anything away with his face. Darn!) and although the fact that it must be "exciting" that Courtney's a model, Flajnik shared, "I told my mom and my sister before this thing started, I didn't want the models and the L.A… and that kind of stuff. So that was one of the hurdles."

Another hurdle? Not being able to see what was going on with the girls when he wasn't around.

"You never know what's going on, on that side. You never know who to trust. Like you said earlier backstage. You wish there was a mole. Yeah, it would be nice if there were a mole back there."

Luckily, Ellen's got his back, "All right, I'm going to find you a nice girl because that didn't work."

Kelly Rowland GUSHES Over "Stunning" Baby Blue + Mary J. Blige Is PISSY Over Oscar SNUB

Kelly Rowland gushed about Baby Blue Ivy Carter during a recent Access Hollywood interview and described just how stunning she is. Watch the clip inside and see what Mary J. Blige tweeted after she was snubbed by the Oscars.....

While at the Hpnotiq Harmonie and Live Louder kickoff party in Hollywood last night, Kelly Rowland talked to E! about Beyonce and Jay's daughter Blue Ivy Carter.  She gushed,

"She is just more precious than a diamond. She ’s just so stunning. I'm so happy for my sister and her husband. She ’s beautiful."

And about the new parents, she said,

"She’s an incredible mother. I' m so incredibly proud of her, so proud of her. She ’s in mommyville and I'm so happy for her and her husband's in daddyville, and the baby is very beautiful."

Peep the video below:

And in other news......

Mary J. Blige got a little pissy when she didn't get nominated for "original song" when the 84th Annual Academy Awards nominations were announced today.  She was considered a front-runner for “The Living Proof,” the ballad she penned for The Help.

But here's the kicker....the category USUALLY has 5 nominees....this year they had two!  Why the snub????

Mary tweeted her frustration saying,

SIDEBAR:  Elton John didn't get nominated either.  I'm SURE we will hear from him and his husband soon...

Mary co-hosted "Live With Kelly" this morning and she performed "The Living Proof" as well.

Will The Last Breaking Dawn Trailer Premiere Before Hunger Games?

katniss-meets-bella.jpg

Hmm. Not a bad idea. Not a bad idea at all.

Call us crazy, but we don't see anything wrong with the Lionsgate and Summit merger. In this instance, you've got two huge franchises â€" one just beginning and one on its way out â€" giving the company all the power it needs to make the kind of movies they want to make in the inbetween time. But having both The Hunger Games and The Twilight Saga under one roof can be beneficial to each of the franchises as well!

Case in point: What if the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiered before The Hunger Games? Not only would you get all the Tributes in to see the movie, but Twi-hards would flock in DROVES just for the preview. Maybe they aren't completely on board with Katniss Everdeen, but so what? They bought the ticket to see the movie anyway!

Hear that sound? CHA-CHING!

Needless to say, we're of the shared opinion (as this is the rumor circulating the Internet today) that the final Twilight trailer will premiere before The Hunger Games come March. It sounds mutually beneficial to all involved; fans get their trailer early, studio gets their money!

A win-win!

Teen Mom 2 Recap: Jenelle's Bedroom Brawl

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

Think you have a roommate from hell?

You obviously haven't seen tonight's episode of Teen Mom 2, which featured an all-out smackdown between Jenelle Evans and her new housemates.

Instead of the front lawn or, say, the parking lot of Planet Funâ€"this four-way fracas went down in the young mama's boudoir...

EXCLUSIVE: Teen Mom's Jenelle Evans Talks Recent Arrests: "They Are Trying to Charge Me With Things Out of Spite"

It all happened so fast. One minute Jenelle was crying because Kieffer was texting the 508 area code, the next she was threatening to move out and take her couches with her. Her first victim, the bathroom door, was entirely innocent (like her friend Ben's change jar); but even after she nearly slammed it off its hinges, roommate Tori was consoling her. But when Jenelle complained about Tori's boyfriend, Tylor, invading her space (he's not a model houseguest like Kieffer, after all), she was forced to bring out the drumsticks.

Actually we have no idea why Tori was waving around drumsticks, but some serious beating took place in Jenelle's room. In what sounds like a bad porn scene, the girls shoved each other atop Jenelle's bed, then rolled around on the floor between the legs of Kieffer and Tylorâ€"who were also locked in battle until they fell to the floor with the girls.

In the end, Jenelle screamed, "Just leave me alone!"

And scene.

Oh wait, some other stuff happened with the other Teen Moms tonight.

Chelsea got off to a promising start at her tanning salon job, but cried because Adam broke up with her. (Maybe he found someone else in the 508 area code?) Kailyn hired an attorney because Jo would rather finance his music career than pay child support.

Corey Simms, Leah Messer, Teen Mom 2MTV

Meanwhile, aspiring coal miner Corey would rather buy a new truck than a trailer home for his family. We thought Leah's demands that they purchase land and a double wide were unrealisticâ€"until she took us down to that terrifying basement, which is creepier than the haunted cellar in American Horror Story. The only place she can bathe her daughters is in a moldy spider's home with a faucet coming out of the ceiling?

"This is over," she tells Corey when he refuses to support her. "I'm leaving."

Sigh. Not everyone can have a storybook romance like Jenelle and Kieffer's.

Are you on Team Corey or Team Leah? Team Jenelle or Team Drumsticks? Sound off on all of tonight's drama in the comments!

Where Is Dennis Rodman's Wedding Dress?

Grey Flannel Auctions, run by Richie Russek and his sons Darren and Michael, is the business at the heart of "All Star Dealers" (Tue., 8 p.m. EST on Discovery). This series features a new twist on the auction/resale/memorabilia genre of television taking over the airwaves. Grey Flannel specializes in and focuses on sports-related memorabilia.

Dennis Rodman made an appearance in this premiere installment, as Russek was visiting a storage locker filled with Rodman's own unique collection. But one item that Russek wanted in particular wasn't to be found, so he went straight to the source.

"Here's my big question. Where's the g*******d wedding dress?" he asked the NBA Hall of Famer. "We looked through boxes, Dennis. Do you know where it is?"

While Rodman didn't know exactly where the dress was, he did know he wasn't looking to part with it. "I might give it to my kids," he said. "One of these days probably just put it in [a] glass case. I think it'd mean more to them just because of the historical factor."

Rodman wore the dress to promote his biography "Bad As I Wanna Be" back in 1997, saying he was bisexual and intending to marry himself. "It's a part of American culture," Russek said of the dress. But it's a history Rodman will be keeping in the family -- at least for the time being.

"All Star Dealers" continued on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on Discovery.

Joan Rivers' Plastic Surgery Rehab

After her most recent bout of surgery, Melissa rediscovered what a pain playing nursemaid to Joan Rivers can be on "Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best" (Tue., 9 p.m. EST on WE). She found herself chasing her mother all around the house, picking her up off of the bathroom floor, and having to watch her virtually 24/7.

Joan was trying to make phone calls and feed the dog Jell-O. She wouldn't keep the ice packs where they belonged, insisting instead that she was keeping it at her crotch. It was no surprise that she started joking about her vagina to anyone who saw the pair on "The View," where they quickly derailed the conversation into porn and even women who have two vaginas simply upon hearing the v-word.

Joan talked with HuffPost Gay Voices about the new season of "Joan & Melissa," and about comments she made that some in the gay community think might be considered transphobic. This stemmed from Joan assuring Melissa she wasn't going in for "a Chaz Bono" with her latest procedure.

Joan had some choice words in her defense, but Melissa translated her intent in a more eloquent way. "When the gay community starts becoming overly sensitive and loses its sense of humor, we're all in deep s**t," she said. "They're the funniest people alive."

She what Joan does next as "Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best" continues every Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on WE.

Madonna Had No Idea There Was Beef With Elton

Madonna Elton Feud Oblivious

Madonna actually had no idea that there was a feud between her and Elton John during the Golden Globes, because she had to be told afterwards that things went down.

And even then she decides to take the high road and pay no mind to it!

Here's what she said:

"You know what, honestly, I was oblivious to it all. It was brought to my attention afterwards and I don't… I just keep going and don't pay no mind to things like that. " was really surprised, I have to say. I always say, 'Don't expect to win and if you do, you're pleasantly surprised.'"

Interesting!

We get the feeling that with her crazy schedule right now and the rush of winning that it's completely plausible that she had no idea it was going on until someone told her. It's totally in her character to not be phased by it too!

Even with the revelation of it, it's super classy of her to stay quiet.

Do U guys think she should be more upset??

Vanessa Paradis Vaguely Addresses Johnny Depp Breakup Rumors, Goes Solo in Paris

Vanessa ParadisMarc Piasecki/Getty Images

Vanessa Paradis isn't doing much to squelch talk that she and Johnny Depp are dunzo.

The singer-actress stepped out solo last night at the Paris premiere of her new flick Café de Flore, marking her first public appearance since rumors began swirling early this month that she and the Hollywood megastar are calling it quits.

But that wasn't the only thing Paradis did to fuel rumors of a romantic flameout…

MORE: Vanessa Paradis Steps Out Sans Johnny Depp Amid Split Rumors

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

The Daily Mail reports that after the premiere, Paradis spoke to radio station Europe 1 and dropped this bomb: "In the winter I separate, in the summer I marry. It's been 15 years since I've been getting married every year. In addition I have to answer all these rumours!"

Boom! It's the closest Paradis has come to directly addressing any kind of breakup rumors, and the couple has so far remained mum about their relationship status. The stars' reps have yet to respond to requests for comment about Paradis' statements.

That hasn't stopped tongues from wagging. Last week, People.com reported that the couple, who've been together for 14 years, have been living on separate continents. And Depp himself went to the recent Golden Globe Awards without Paradis.

MORE: Johnny Depp & Vanessa Paradis: Anatomy of a (Possible) Split

She was also spotted shopping solo in Paris a few days ago, snapping up some DVDs and books along the way.

Neither of the couple's kids, Lily-Rose, 12, and Jack, 9, was with Paradis at the Cafe de Flore premiere, although she reportedly brought along her sister, per The Daily Mail.

The stylish Frenchwoman did look tres chic, though, clad in tight crimson pants paired with a relaxed black blazer and matching black tie.

If indeed there's trouble in Paradis' paradise, it certainly hasn't stopped the gamine beauty from looking ultrafab for prying eyes!

Demi Moore Rushed To The Hospital! Seeking Treatment For Substance Abuse "Exhaustion" & "Overall Health"

demi__opt1.jpg

Oh no! Poor thing! After the year she's had, we're not surprised … but we sincerely hope the rumors aren't true.

Reports have just surfaced saying that last night, Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital from her home. A 911 call was placed around 10:45PM last night, and insiders are suggesting that her medical emergency had something to do with substance abuse.

While that hasn't been confirmed, Demi's rep has released a statement revealing that she'll be seeking treatment from professionals for "exhaustion" and "overall health." In the rep's statement, he explains:

"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."

Damn. That really sucks. We knew she was going through a tough time â€" we guess we just didn’t know how bad it had gotten.

No matter what the circumstances, we’re glad she is getting help with her issues. We wish her nothing but the best and a speedy recovery.

IT'S OFFICIAL: Condoms Are Now Required In Porn

LOS ANGELES â€" Actors in adult movies filmed in Los Angeles will be required to use condoms under an ordinance signed into law by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, and porn industry leaders say the regulation could lead them to abandon the nation's porn capital.

The law, signed Monday, will take effect 41 days after it is posted by the city clerk, something that could happen as early as this week.

Officials with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which lobbied for years for such a law, expressed jubilation Tuesday and said they would now turn their attention to getting a similar condom requirement adopted elsewhere.

"The city of Los Angeles has done the right thing. They've done the right thing for the performers," said Michael Weinstein, president of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which had pushed the measure for six years.

He said its adoption is crucial in protecting adult film actors from HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.

Weinstein said his group's next move will be to get Los Angeles County to adopt a similar measure for its unincorporated areas.

The group is in the midst of a petition drive to put the issue on the ballot, but Weinstein said he hopes the county's Board of Supervisors will react as the Los Angeles City Council did and pass such an ordinance itself. The council gave its final approval last week.

Industry officials estimate as many as 90 percent of the porn films produced in the United States are made in Los Angeles. Most are filmed quietly in the city's suburban San Fernando Valley.

After the council's action, several of the industry's biggest filmmakers said they might consider moving just outside the county. That prompted Simi Valley Mayor Bob Huber to announce last week that he would ask the city attorney for his community, located just across the county line from the San Fernando Valley, to write a similar ordinance.

Weinstein said Tuesday his group would also be vigilant in keeping track of where porn producers might go.

Exactly how the law will be enforced is still to be determined.

It calls for makers of porn films to pay a fee, the amount still to be determined, that would be used to pay for spot checks at filming locations.

The City Council is creating a committee to determine the amount of the fee and who would make the spot checks.

Weinstein said he envisions enforcement would fall on nurses or other public health providers.

"It is not anticipated, based on what we desire or what has been discussed, that it would be uniformed police officers," he said.

Weinstein said he would be open to working with industry leaders to enforce the law.

He noted the ordinance does not require condoms when oral sex is involved because his group, which originally crafted it, agreed with the filmmakers that infection through oral sex was not as great as through other sex acts.

The industry already requires that actors be tested for HIV every 30 days, and filmmakers say they believe that is sufficient.

"It's not that I don't doubt the sincerity of their desire to protect the talent. And believe it or not, we have the same ambition," Christian Mann, general manager of Evil Angel Productions, said last week after the council's vote.

"We just don't believe their way is the best way," added Mann, who is also on the board of directors of the industry trade group the Free Speech Coalition.

What Everyone Is Saying About the State of the Union [State Of The Union]

What Everyone Is Saying About the State of the UnionTonight we witnessed President Obama outline all the proposals that will be blocked by Congress in the election year 2012. Drill for everything. Create jobs for the humans who want jobs. End more wars, try not to have new ones... but maybe have some new ones? 2012 is shaping up to be a banner year for America's government. Let's check out some reactions from the pundits and various clowns on Twitter.

Andrew Sullivan, who recently wrote a cover story for Newsweek about how dumb all of the criticisms of the President are, had some criticisms for the President:

I was hoping for a vision. I was hoping for real, strategic reform. What we got was one big blizzard of tax deductions, wrapped in a populist cloak. It was treading water. I suspect this will buoy liberal spirits, but anger the right and befuddle the independents. It definitely gives the Republican case against Obama as a big government meddler more credibility. I may be wrong - but the sheer cramped, tedious, mediocre micro-policies he listed were uninspiring to say the least.

We voted for Obama; now we find we got another Clinton. The base will like this. I'm not sure independents will. As performance, he did as well as he could with the thin material he had in his hands. As a speech, I thought it was the worst of his SOTUs, when he really needed his best.

NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco was concerned about Speaker Boehner's tweets and demeanor during the speech:

@SpeakerBoehner Just read some of your tweets and you seem pretty angry kind sir. I can see you on tv but you're not smiling. Hope you're ok

Former George W. Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer sure got plenty of zingers in:

The president praises Steve Jobs and Apple, but his tax proposals would punish them.

Ken Layne at Wonkette is keeping his hopes up for the Revolution after this mild setback:

So Obama says how we are such a kick-ass country that can kill anybody and even make kids go to high school. And then Mitch says Obama *actually* said America is in decline, the world is too weird, etc. No, that's what bloggers and leftists and anarchists say, because it's true. Obama says a bunch of patriotic bullshit talking points.

The Washington Post's Chris Cillizza was one of the rare people on Earth to get something out of this speech:

Given the success of his rhetorical pivot, it's no surprise that President Obama largely stuck to it during the State of the Union. While this was not the same speech he would give to a group of Democratic activists and donors, it was also far from the ideals-only addresses that he delivered with regularity on the campaign trail in 2008.

This is Obama version 2.0: Harder, more cynical but perhaps also more effective. This is the Obama that will run for a second term this November - an Obama ready to give at least as good as he gets in the bare-knuckled brawl that is American politics.

Obama told a spilled milk joke. How did DC indie rock performer Ted Leo like it?

That was literally the worst joke I've ever heard. #SOTU

National Review people thought Obama's speech was dumb, as is their job, but boy oh boy did they like that boring word salad from Mitch Daniels afterwards. Why won't he save America?

Jefferson "trembled for" our country when he reflected that "God is just." We must do the same when confronted with the contrasting speeches tonight of Barack Obama and Mitch Daniels. That our best leaders, such as Mitch Daniels, who tonight delivered the finest response to a State of the Union ever, have chosen not to serve, leaves the country to the second-raters. And if we are led by second rate people, we will become a second rate country.

All in all, it was a great night for America.

Ricky Gervais Is Breaking Records On The Science Channel!

ricky gervais breaks records on science channel

Not a HUGE shocker, given how successful the show was in its first season!

The numbers are in, and the season premiere for Ricky Gervais/Science Channel's An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List was the network's most-watched telecast EVER in key adult/male demographics! Wowsa!

The show brought in 1.3 million viewers for its Saturday night premiere, which is VERY impressive for Science Channel!

Here's what Ricky had to say about the show's success:

"It's fantastic news. I won’t be satisfied until Karl is as big a phenomenon as Justin Bieber. I just hope it doesn't all rest on hair."

Ha! And for those who aren't familiar with the show, here's how it's been described:

"In AN IDIOT ABROAD 2: THE BUCKET LIST, [Karl] Pilkington is coerced into round two of the world’s most hilarious social experiment, as Gervais and Merchant force him to complete 'the ultimate list of things to do before you die.'"

"However, the list â€" compiled by Gervais and Merchant â€" is geared more toward the personal torture of Pilkington than it is for his personal fulfillment. Over eight episodes, Pilkington attempts to survive challenges including bungee jumping, taming cobras and swimming with sharks â€" solely for the amusement of his 'friends' back in London."

Sounds like a blast! We'll definitely be sure to check this one out!

What do U think? Does Ricky Gervais' Science Channel show sound appealing to U???

After receiving an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress, The Artist's leading lady Bérénice Bejo needs time to let it all sink in.

"I feel like someone has smashed my head and I haven't really realized it yet," Bejo, 35, told PEOPLE from her home in Paris Tuesday afternoon, just hours after the nominations were announced. "It's crazy!"

It was double the pleasure for the charming French actress as her husband, Michel Hazanavicius, nabbed a Best Director nomination for The Artist. His silent black-and-white film received a total of 10 Academy Award nominations.

With all the hugging, kissing, shouts of joy and phones ringing off the hook, one person at the Bejo-Hazanavicius household didn't know what all the fuss was about: the couple's 3½-year-old son, Lucien.

"He doesn't understand what Mommy and Daddy do," she explained. "For him, Michel's work is saying, 'Action!' One time, he came to set [while I was filming a scene] and thought my job was running. He said to me, 'Mommy's work is running.' We haven't talked to him about the truth yet."

In the meantime, the newly-minted Oscar nominees will raise a glass before the clock strikes midnight and it's back to their relatively normal life.

"We'll definitely open a very good bottle of wine â€" my son will have apple juice â€" and everybody is going to be happy. Then we'll wake up at 4 a.m. to give my daughter her bottle," Bejo says of baby Gloria, born in September.

"We go buy diapers and milk. Those things keep us really connected to reality. Then at the same time, critics from all around the world want to talk to us. It's unreal!"

Preparing for the Academy Awards

Luckily, there's one thing the actress doesn't have to worry about: her outfit.

"I already know what I will wear. It's going to be totally different from the Golden Globes," Bejo told PEOPLE. "I had a lot of pressure. It was like, 'Bérénice, you have to pick out your dress,' and I said, 'Well, I don't know if we are going to the Oscars.' [But] I'm not superstitious, so last week I was like, 'Let's go and try on dresses.' "

What can we expect to see on the red carpet? "I can't tell you. It's a surprise," she said with a laugh. "It's like Christmas. You don't want to know until the big day."

One person Bejo hopes to have the chance to chat one-on-one with that evening is Meryl Streep.

"I just adore her," she says. "To me, she's a goddess. I wish I could talk to her for five minutes and tell her how much I love her. I want to see her win the Oscar."
