J Lo is excited for In Living Color's return!
While she's hasn't heard from the show's creator, Keenan Ivory Wayans, J Lo says she would be down to return her original stomping grounds to lend a hand.
During the show's original run, Lopez teamed up with Rosie Perez and other dancers as a Fly Girl. The sketch comedy show was also the launching pad for the likes of Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx.
Early 90s flashback!
J Lo says she received a lot of encouragement and advice from Wayans and commented on her Fly days:
I owe Keenan a lot. From the beginning of my career, he always believed in me, he always was constantly putting in my brain, ‘You’re gonna be a star, you’re gonna be a star, do you know that?’ And he was a mentor to me so I wish him the best with that.
Will J Lo bust out her old Fly Girl moves if asked to return?!
In Living Color will return to Fox this spring and will feature young talent with Wayans as host.
