Surprise! Both the singers were safe on Tuesday. Instead, in the season's most shocking results night so far, two favorite couples were in the bottom: Sherri Shepherd and Chmerkovskiy, and Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower.
"All of us judges are in total shock," head judge Len Goodman said of the turn of events. "This is beyond ... The standard is so high, anyone can be in jeopardy, anyone can be safe."
In the end, Sherri and Val were eliminated.
"I just want to say thank you for letting me live a dream I've always had," the talk show host said with tears in her eyes. "I had the most amazing partner, Val Chmerkovskiy. That thing that scares you the most ... run towards it because it's so amazing on the other side ... I had the most amazing time."
Roshon and Chelsie will be back next week to compete against the other remaining couples.
