Game of Thrones Preview: Season 2, Episode 5 - The Ghost Of Harrenhal - Cinema Blend

The ladies of Game of Thrones are proving to be forces to be reckoned with. Between dragon births, a smoke-monster-baby, and someone's night-time list of names, I'd say people might want to keep an eye out for some of these women. They're not to be underestimated. The preview for next Sunday's episode of HBO's fantastic fantasy drama series gives us a look of some of the mentioned females.

Arya may be young, but she's not weak. As we saw last night, she's keeping a list of names of people who deserve a bit of vengeance. How long will she have to wait before she can start carrying it out? Meanwhile, Daenerys isn't willing to take no for an answer. We saw that last night, and as shown in the preview for "The Ghost of Harrenhal," she states very matter-of-factly that the Iron Throne is hers and she will take it. She just might…

It looks like Arya's struck some kind of a deal, saying "I can name anyone, and you'll kill him." As mentioned already, we know she has a lot of names stored away in her mind. Is she about to cross one or more of them off the list?

Meanwhile, it looks like Daenerys is looking to strike ("The time to strike is now.") Her determination is endless.

I didn't see Lady Melisandre in the above preview, but her name was mentioned. Hopefully we'll get some follow-up on what exactly she gave birth to. Daenerys' dragon-birth at the end of Season 1 was cool, but the closing scene of last night's episode was downright twisted.

Game of Thrones airs Sunday night at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO. Read our breakdown of last night's episode "Garden of Bones" here.
