Disney announced today that musician and former White Stripes lead singer/guitarist Jack White is set to score The Lone Ranger. While this news was shared at CinemaCon today, which also happens to be the day White's debut solo album Blunderbuss releases. As White's known to play multiple instruments, it should be very interesting to see, or rather hear, what he contributes to the movie musically. This marks his first time composing for a film.
Among White's recent appearances as a solo artist, he served as the musical guest for Saturday Night Live last month. You can check out one of his performances below:
