In her interview with Seacrest, Lopez gushed about the song and working with Pitbull and RedOne. “I love being able to collaborate with the producer RedOne again, and working with Pitbull again. We had a great chemistry the last time, and it was like ‘We’re going to have to do something again.’ And this was the perfect song,” she said.
Seacrest also asked her how “Dance Again” would be released. She said that it could be on a Greatest Hits album, but she is working on a “collection of songs right now, and I don’t know what I’m going to do with them.”
She also explained why she loves working with RedOne, saying that it is because of the “chemistry that you have with someone, and he gets me.” She added, “When he connects with somebody he can really bring their vision to life of who they are or who he thinks they are, but also how the world perceives them. Because sometimes your own vision of yourself is not how other people see you.”
