LIVE CHAT: "Game of Thrones" finale Sunday, June 3, 9 pm Eastern - Washington Times

SAN DIEGO, June 3, 2012 â€" “Game of Thrones,” the HBO miniseries which has set a new standard by which all other epic series will now be measured, will give its legion of fans one last thrill with the finale episode of Season 2 on Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time on HBO East and HBO Latino East (with Spanish subtitles); followed by airings on HBO West and Latino West at 9 p.m. Pacific Time. All four channels repeat the episode immediately four times back to back.

The finale, titled “Valar Morghulis,” is ten minutes longer than the rest of the season’s episodes. So if you are recording, adjust your DVR or TiVO so you don’t miss out.

After last week’s episode depicting the siege of “Blackwater,” there are some loose ends to tie up. Who survived? Is Tyrion Lannister alive? As for the vanquished, Ser Davos Seaworth, or Stannis Baratheon himself? And where is the priestess Melisandre? Cowardly King Joffrey remains on the Iron Throne, where in the previews he declares Tyrion “The Savior of the City.”

Margaery Tyrell has her eye on the Iron Throne. What is she willing to do to become Queen someday?

Will Daenerys Targaryen be able to rescue her dragons from the House of the Undying?

The fate of many other characters is still unknown: Jon Snow, Jamie Lannister and Brienne, Theon Greyjoy, Robb Stark, and the Stark heirs Bran, Sansa, and Arya Stark.

So relish every last minute of the extended final episode, and join us here at Communities for a live chat on Sunday for 6 p.m. Eastern Time so we can share the experience, discuss our favorite characters, cheer the heroes and hiss at the villains.

Your chat hosts are also big fans: Gayle Falkenthal, Amy Phillips, and Jacquie Kubin.
