After two years of dating, Sofia Vergara and boyfriend Nick Loeb have decided to call it quits.
The “Modern Family†star, 39, was spotted maneuvering the celeb-heavy Met Ball solo Monday night, and a source tells Us Weekly that she was seen confiding in friends about her newly single status.
“They’ve been fighting for a long time,†a source told the magazine. “It just ended officially before the weekend.â€
Vergara, who stunned in a Marchesa dress at the glamorous fashion event, first met Loeb, 36, at a Golden Globes party in 2010.
The couple attended the White House Correspondents Dinner together late last month, where they appeared happy in photos.
The source told Us that Loeb “loved her very much.â€
In the fall of 2010, the businessman was involved in a serious car accident that landed him in intensive care. Vergara was by his side immediately afterward.
“It’s been a very hard two months â€" for him and for me!†the “Three Stooges†star told Us at the time, but added that she’d “been with him since the beginning.â€
Vergara previously dated British singer Craig David and Canadian actor Donal Logue. She was also linked to Tom Cruise and Tyrese Gibson.
