Rylan Clark made a hilarious blunder upon his return to Celebrity Gogglebox, with the presenter making a mess of the set.

The former It Takes Two host returned to the sofa alongside his mum Linda for tonight's (July 14) episode, and made a misjudgement at one point in the show.

As the pair settled down to watch Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Rylan naturally began to mimic the iconic theme tune, pulling spy poses in the background as Linda looked nonplussed.

Rylan then returned to the sofa, hurling himself over the back of it, despite Linda warning him to mind the chair and the phone. He kicked a cushion onto the table where it landed in sauce, with the pair exclaiming: "Oh no!"

The duo proved to be popular with the viewers, w ith one user writing on Twitter: "@Rylan and Linda back on gogglebox has made my Friday night #CelebrityGogglebox." This sentiment was echoed by another user, who wrote: "Let's be honest, it's mostly about Linda and Rylan tonight! #CelebrityGogglebox #IDroppedOutOfYa".

"@Rylan loved having you & Linda back on gogglebox!! And your mission impossible dance! Although I could have done without seeing Paul's thumb xxx" added another Twitter us er, whilst somebody else noted: "No double act will ever be topped by Rylan and Linda #CelebrityGogglebox".

Rylan and Linda weren't the only pair to mimic the Mission: Impossible theme tune. Jane McDonald and her friend Sue were also excited by the action film. Martin and Roman Kemp copied the tune with the help of their dog, who was being lowered in the same vein as Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt.

Other pairs in the latest edition included Richie Anderson & Ellie Simmonds, Fearne Cotton & Gok Wan and Deborah Meaden & Peter Jones, with required viewing including The Chase and 24 Hours in A&E.
