Holly Willoughby and Ant and Dec have led the jubilant celebrity reactions online after England's Lionesses sailed through to the Women's Football World Cup final for the first time ever after a 3-1 victory over Australia.

They will now go head-to-head with Spain in the final on Sunday and as they move one step closer to bringing it home, their celeb fans couldn't hide their delight.

This Morning presenter Willoughby took to Instagram to share a snap of the Lionesses in their post-match huddle, writing: "Utterly incredible... wow wee! Congratulations @lionesses #lionesses."

Hailing the team's performance as "incredible", Geordie TV stars Ant and Dec posted a message of support on their shared X account, previously known as Twitter.

"Wow #Lionesses. You are incredible! Come on England!" they enthused.

Paddy McGuiness was also feeling it, sharing a picture of his TV as the final whistle blew, remarking: "Absolute, stone cold, class!!! Love this team!!! Bring on the final."
