Coral Springs Crime Update: Grand Theft Victim Has $20K Stolen

A man was shot and killed during a domestic incident in Coral Springs Friday morning, police said.

No one had been arrested as of 12:40 p.m. for the shooting that took place at a residence in the Windsor Coral Springs apartment complex in the 6000 block of Wiles Road, according to Coral Springs Police.

The man who was shot died at the scene, police said. His name was not immediately made public.

Detectives were on scene taking statements from members of a family inside the residence where the shooting happened, police said.

There was no threat to the community, police said.

"Right now we're speaking to the parties involved and the rest of the[people] who were inside the home," said Coral Springs police Sgt. Ernesto Bruna.

Police had asked residents to stay away from the area while detectives conducted their investigation.

Additional information about the shooting was not immediately made public.
