MIAMI - Two Hollywood schools were placed on lockdown Wednesday after a report of a possible weapon on campus.

Hollywood Hills High School and neighboring Sterling Elementary were put on lockdown after Hollywood police received the tip of the possible weapon at the high school.

Police went through classrooms and bags searching for possible weapons.

Authorities have since told CBS News Miami they did not find anything.
