Celebrity Moms and Their Lookalike Daughters

These celebrity moms may be busy, but they make time for guiding their daughters when it comes to establishing careers, developing a sense of self and sharing important beauty lessons. Some of these young ladies have even followed in their moms' footsteps when it comes to their career path, although they've certainly made names for themselves on their own.

Although Hollywood has changed since their mamas started out in the business, the value of a mother's love remains timeless.

The Meaningful Beauty founder, 58, recognizes that the world has changed since she started modeling in the 1980s, but Crawford trusts her 22-year-old daughter can navigate the challenges that come with being in the spotlight today as Gerber embarks on a modeling career of her own. "I'm learning along with her about that stuff, but I feel like she seems like she has a very good head on her shoulders and is figuring out how she wants to create that private work-public balance," Crawford told PEOPLE.

"My mom had such an incredible group of women around her," the Blink Twice director, 35, told Byrdie of her actress mom, 56. "Seeing that kind of support and seeing how that changed her life, I think from an early age I knew that was something that was important to me." As for the beauty advice Bonet would pass along to Kravitz, the Enemy of the State star recommends not over-tweezing your eyebrows — something she knows about based on firsthand experience. "I've always kept them quite full," Kravitz told The New York Times. "Although, as young women, we like to experiment, and I did tweeze them once. (I have a school picture for proof.) It's amazing how brows can change your face. I remember my mother was flabbergasted when I came out of the bathroom. I would tell my daughters not to over-tweeze — maybe Zoë did it once — but you've got to let them fly, too."

The America's Got Talent judge, 50, passed the modeling gene along to her oldest child — but she hopes the 20-year-old will carve her own path. "I want Leni to have her own experiences — free from any contacts she might have thanks to me," the mom of four told Glamour U.K. Leni acknowledged to PEOPLE "it's just a fact" that she's experienced certain advantages thanks to her mother. "I did get help starting off, and I know that people would dream to start off with what I had," she said. "I'm so grateful that I've been able to take what was gifted to me by my mom. But I am doing the work and putting in the time. Now I'm working on my own, traveling alone, going to school. My mom and I just have the same love for the same thing."

The Oscar nominee, 55, considers her 15-year-old daughter with ex Liev Schreiber her "sweet little angel." "You are everything to me," Watts wrote on Instagram in December. "I'm so lucky to be your mum. Keep dancing and showing the world your dynamic and glorious spirit." She prev iously told Vogue Australia that "there's nothing better" than watching her children "grow into themselves." "You want to be there and guide them with values and things, but you also want to move out of the way and let them be their own little people," the Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans star said.

The Emmy winner, 58, didn't let her and husband Kevin Bacon's "painful experiences" in Hollywood dissuade their youngest from acting. "You don't want your kid to go through that," Sedgwick told Good Housekeeping. "But I want [Sosie] to follow her passion, and acting has become her passion."

The 32-year-old has joined her mom in multiple episodes of The Closer, as well as appearing in 13 Reasons Why, Here and Now, Mare of Easttown and As We See It. She told Harpe r's Bazaar that her parents "tried to stay out of it" when it came to her career. "I don't think that they encouraged or discouraged either way," Bacon said. "Having parents that are in this, you see a lot of the negative sides of it, not just the flashy, fun side of it. But that being said, as soon as I made the choice, it was like, 'Amazing. That's exciting. Now we can talk about it.' It wasn't like, 'Oh, no.' "

Phillippe, whose dad is actor Ryan Phillippe, told PEOPLE her mom, 48, instilled in her that "you're only as beautiful as you treat other people," as Witherspoon lives by the phrase "pretty is as pretty does.' " ""As we move through the world, I find that beauty is really subjective, but w hat's not is being kind and being open and treating people with respect," Phillippe, 24, told PEOPLE. "I think that you glow from within when you're a good person."

Though the internet considers Phillippe Witherspoon's doppelgänger, the Legally Blonde star said on the Today show that "she and I don't see it that much."

Although the Mother of the Bride star, 58, has set fashion trends for decades, her daughters Rowan, 19, and Grier, 18, think she needs to spice up her style. "They're always like, 'Mom, you should show your belly,'" Shields told PEOPLE. "I'm like 'Oh God, no. I don't want to show my belly.' " Still, the supermodel claims Grier loves borrowing from her closet. "My younger is extremely into fashion," Shields said. "If I want to know where anything good that I have is, and I can't find it in my closet, I know exactly where to find it. It's her! And she's [like], 'Oh, I forgot to give that back to you.' I'm like, 'You also forgot to ask me to borrow it. So let's go back, back up a bit."
