While Homes Under The Hammer viewers may recognise Tommy from his presenting role on the popular 90s garden makeover show Ground Force, Jacqui has also made several TV appearances prior to joining the renovation programme - here's more about her.

Jacqui Joseph is a television presenter, producer and self-proclaimed "Eco Interior Designer" who has worked on a range of lifestyle and entertainment programmes.

Jacqui Joseph, known for her stints on ITV's GMTV, Daybreak, and , as well as appearances on Wife Swap: The Aftermath, Hollywood Gossip, and the Alan Titchmarsh Show, has a rich background in DIY and fashion design. Her skills are rooted in her upbringing; her father, a decorator and plasterer, taught her "how to do everything from wallpapering to tiling and painting and everything in between", while her seamstress mother passed on her sewing expertise.

Before gracing television screens, Jacqui spent five years in the fashion industry and launched her own clothing brand, which supplied women's and children's attire to local shops and London markets. Her passion for fashion naturally evolved into interior design and crafts, leading to her role on BBC's Money For Nothing, where she upcycles discarded items into treasures.

Her brother also ended up working in the TV industry, starting out on the stage before making his big break in Casualty in 1997, before landing a 12-year stint on Peep Show as Alan Johnson. His most recent scren appearance was in 2023 Hollywood film Wonka, starring Timothee Chalamet and Matt Lucas.

During an emotional segment on Morning Live earlier this year, in 2018. In a discussion about Marie Curie's National Day of Reflection, she opened up about Andrew, affectionately known as Andy, and his fight with cancer that ended four years prior.

Opening up to Call The Midwife's Stephen McGann about the profound grief of losing her husband, Jacqui shared: "Stephen, I don't think you know this but I lost my husband four years ago, in fact on New Year's Day of 2018, and that sense of loss as you say, it doesn't go away at all."

Back in 2018, Jacqui had taken to Twitter to inform her followers about the devastating loss, posting: "Sorry for the radio silence. My husband Andrew passed away peacefully at home on 1st Jan after an 8-month battle with cancer. I miss him so much...I've set up a Macmillan page so please donate to this worthwhile service if you can and feel free to share xx."

In a heartfelt conversation with Marie Curie, Jacqui delved deeper into her personal life, reminiscing about her cherished late husband.

She fondly recalled their "fabulous" wedding day as one of her most treasured memories with him.

The joyous occasion saw the couple exchange vows in a Kensington church, followed by a celebratory reception in the Royal Gardens, surrounded by their extensive families.

Jacqui candidly expressed how her husband's passing left her initially paralysed by grief, admitting: "At first, I couldn't do anything. For months I just sat at home. I didn't contact anyone."

However, a turning point came when she decided to embrace life once more, reflecting: "But one day something in me switched. I was like, "Come on Jac, you've got to get going now. " Andy was my biggest supporter and I knew he wouldn't want me moping around forever."
