Graduation season is here, and moms are not OK! Jennifer Garner is the latest celebrity mom to post about their child's high school graduation, and her tear-jerking photos were met with an outpouring of love and support from moms who've been there.
The Last Thing He Told Me star shared several photos on Instagram from her 18-year-old daughter Violet's graduation. Relatably, Garner is crying in every single one.

"Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate. 🎓 (bless our hearts 🥺♥️🤣)" she captioned the post. The first photo was taken in an auditorium, where Garner is clapping with tears in her eyes. The Alias alum is outside in the second photo, still crying. Her baby girl is all grown up — can you blame her? In another, she is crying on an airplane, lifting her glasses up to wipe a tissue on her eye. I'm getting misty-eyed just looking at these sweet photos!
There's also a video from the plane, where Garner asks, "How are we gonna make it? What are we gonna do?" Poor mama! The last photo is just a picture of Garner in "2024" glasses (probably Violet's graduation party), and she looks absolutely devastated. It's not easy watching your kids grow up!
Many moms have been through this exact same thing, and they offered words of support for Garner. "Oh honey … I know. 😢 ❤️" Reese Witherspoon commented. "You have done a great job , mama! I will be here for support and lots of hugs."
Gwyneth Paltrow wrote, "I'm sooooo with you ❤️🩹" Busy Phillipps said, "i literally can't believe this😭"
"I will be exactly this 😂😭" Jenna Dewan wrote. Rachel Zoe commented, "Omg JEN I just stopped crying a week after Skys 13th so same girl same LOVE you madly and stay strong 💪"
Celebrity chefs Ina Garten and Giada De Laurentiis also commented, with Garten writing, "Sending you love!!! ❤️❤️❤️" and De Laurentiis leaving a "❤️." Lee Drummond (The Pioneer Woman) wrote, "It's a deep, searing pain/joy/grief/pride/mourning!!! 😊 Congratulations!"
Other people sent their love, too. "My daughter walked across the stage and stopped. Looked for me and said HI MOM! Massive tear shedding!" one person said. Another wrote, "It is SO hard!!!! Why aren't people making us casseroles???" Seriously!
Garner shares Violet and kids Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with ex Ben Affleck. In a March interview with PEOPLE, the 13 Going on 30 star opened up about how its "so hard" to avoid giving her kids advice. "I mean, my parents did too, and I'm so amazed by that. I have a really hard time not saying, 'This is what I see you as,' and 'I think you should,'" she said. "I really have to sit on my hands."
Garner added, "They're really solid right now. I'm just watching them in this new phase of life where they're figuring out who they're going to be and what they're going to study. And I'm so interested in them. All the time, I'm interested in everything about them."
