Celebrity Masterchef 2024 line-up in full

John Torode and Gregg Wallace return to judge Celebrity Masterchef 2024. (BBC)

Celebrity Masterchef returns for its 19th edition, with a new batch of famous faces trying their best to impress the judges and make it in one of the most competitive kitchens on TV.

A spin-off of the BBC's ever-popular Masterchef — a show that celebrated its 20th series earlier this year — this special edition may boast celebrity contestants but don't expect it to be any easier. Throughout six intense weeks, 20 celebs will be put through their paces and challenged to whip up dishes that impress even the toughest critics.

The fun starts with four weeks of Heats delivered across three episodes where hopefuls are invited to survive the dreaded Under The Clough challenge before creating a two-course dinner party menu and a food truck. From there they'll face former champions and finalists in the Quarter Finals.

Those who survive these heats will then graduate to the Semis and Final Week where they must up their game to make it through a brand new pizza round, create an opulent dish for the British Pullman Train and something delicious that'll raise eyebrows on the Chef's Table. As if that wasn't enough, they'll also have the tricky task of designing a dish that they wouldn't like to eat.

All this to be in with a chance of winning the Celebrity Masterchef 2024 trophy — but who will be taking part? Here's everything you need to know about the show's impending return, including its release date and celebrity line-up.
