Facing off against Robin Thicke and his team, the competition was intense from the start.
To kick off the game, Anderson, 53, and Thicke, 47, started at the buzzer with the prompt, âName an animal a man sounds like when theyâre making love?â
Thicke quickly answered first with âCow,â which was worth 10 points and was ranked No. 3.
Robin Thickeâs team goes up against Anthony Andersonâs on âCelebrity Family Feudâ on July 23. DisneyAnderson followed up with âA Bear,â which was also 10 points, but ranked higher at No. 2, causing him to believe he beat the âBlurred Linesâ singer.
Confidently, Anderson prematurely declared, âWe gonna play, Steve!â
Harvey intervened, raising his hand to stop him.
âItâs a tie,â the host explained.
âItâs a tie!?â Anderson protested. âBut my bearâs above his cow.â
Harvey clarified that Thicke buzzed in first, leaving Andersonâs team to reluctantly accept the tie.
When the âBlackishâ actor somberly went back to his team, his family appeared baffled and confused. His mom claimed they were âcheating already!â and another family member threw up his hands.
The Tuesday, July 23 episode of the game show was highly competitive between the two teams. DisneyAnderson exclaimed, âItâs okayâ â" and it was. His team won the matchup in the end, despite their initial blip.
Even though they lost the Fast Money round, they still won $10,000 for their charity.
In another recent episode of âCelebrity Family Feudâ on July 16, chaos again unfolded when a survey asking about the greatest rappers of all time sparked widespread debate online.
In a head-to-head competition to get the first answer correct, neither Meghan Trainer nor Tori Kelly were successful in their initial guesses, predicting that J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar would rank among the top eight survey responses.
Anthony Andersonâs team won the July 23 matchup on ABC in the end. DisneyEven Harvey was confused when Lil Wayne didnât come up on the board either, saying, âOkay, yâall tripping now.â
The first correct answer finally came from Kellyâs team with Tupac Shakur, ranking second on the board.
The results revealed Snoop Dogg as the top choice, followed by Tupac, Eminem, Dr. Dre, LL Cool J, The Notorious B.I.G., 50 Cent and Jay-Z.
Harvey jokingly apologized to the hip-hop community for the rankings, particularly Jay-Zâs placement at the bottom.
âWe in Rhode Island again? Where we at?â he questioned. âJay Zâs last? What in the world?â
The episode aired on Tuesday on ABC at 8:00 p.m. DisneyFans expressed their disbelief in the results online, questioning who the show polled for these answers.
âItâs like they surveyed 100 people who have never listened to rap music and asked them to name the most famous rapper they know of,â one user commented on the viral YouTube clip.
âThey should really consider where theyâre polling when asking these questions,â another wrote.
âJay Z number 8, Snoop above Eminem,⦠which humans on this planet was this survey conducted?â a third commented.
âWe literally asked 100 Vermont residents to answer this,â joked another user.
