Celebrity MasterChef 2024 spoilers follow.
Celebrity MasterChef has revealed the next two contestants who will be heading into the semi-finals.
Tonight's (August 30) episode saw quarter-finalists Jake Quickenden, Jamie MacDonald and Tamer Hassan battle it out in the third heat.
Given just one hour and 15 minutes, the celebrities had to produce a two-course meal for judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace. Adding to the pressure, the dishes were also tasted by former Masterchef contestants Su Pollard (2021 semi-finalist), Vicky Pattison (2019 finalist) and Angellica Bell (2017 champion).

The challenge began with a flustered start as the celebrities tried to find their feet in the kitchen. "My fingers are hurting from chopping, man," Jake complained, while Tamer tried to locate his missing utensils.
Dancing on Ice winner Jake served pappa al pomodoro as his starter, followed by pan-fried salmon with crushed potatoes. Despite having to remove his burnt salmon skin, both dishes were adored by the guests.
Game of Thrones star Tamer Hassan created a starter of grilled octopus with parsnip puree. "I was absolutely wrong about the parsnip," admitted Gregg. "I actually find that delightful." Meanwhile, his frutti di mare stew was praised for its presentation.

Finally, stand-up comedian Jamie presented a fillet of beef, served with creamy mashed potato. The main course was applauded for its strong flavours. This was followed by the only dessert of the episode, a chocolate mousse with a deep-fried chocolate bar.
After speaking with the dining room, the judges made the difficult decision of who would progress to the next round. "I want to tell all three of you, it came down to incredibly fine margins," Gregg told the celebrities.
It was revealed that Jamie had been eliminated from the competition, and he exited with a parting message for semi-finalists Jake and Tamer.
"They are absolutely lovely guys, so I wish them all the luck in the world," he said, jokily adding: "And sod the pair of you for beating me!"
