Celebrity Favorite Sparrow Italia Lands in Wynwood

Sparrow Italia, the latest venture from hospitality group Noble 33, will debut in Wynwood this Tuesday, October 1. Known for its "high-energy, fine-dining" experience, Sparrow features a menu of Italian and Mediterranean flavors under the corporate chef Martin Heierling. The Miami debut follows the success of its London location, a celebrity favorite of stars like Alicia Keys, Serena Williams, and Cameron Diaz. Founders Tosh Berman and Mikey Tanha named the restaurant after Italy's national bird, symbolizing "joy, simplicity, and freedom."

Sparrow Italia's menu offers a wide range of dishes, starting with appetizers like the B.I.G. Meatball made with wagyu, pomodoro, and whipped ricotta, and crispy arancini filled with mushroom risotto and black truffle. Seafood options include grilled octopus with baby potatoes and olive sofrito, and Ahi tuna tartare with truffle ponzu and crispy onions. The chilled and raw section features Wagyu carpaccio with pickled mushrooms, shaved black truffles, and umami aioli, as well as Osetra caviar served with polenta pancakes, crème fraiche, and chopped egg.

Pasta dishes offer choices like truffle cacio e pepe, Mikey's spicy rigatoni alla vodka, and bone marrow cappelletti, which pairs braised beef cheeks with roasted bone marrow and a Barolo reduction. For proteins, think dishes like the prime rib cap and 34-ounce prime Fiorentina, alongside a surf-and-turf of whole lobster oreganata with panko-parmesan and lemon. At the bar, the pizza by the slice menu features slices like the dolce e piccante, topped with burrata, basil, and truffle honey, and the hearty carnivoré, with ground Japanese wagyu and wagyu salami. For dessert, selections like the hazelnut rocher with crispy feuilletine and Nutella cream, or the Amalfi lemon delight with lemon cream and sponge, round out the meal.

Sparrow Italia's beverage program spotlights Italian wines, spirits, and a mix of modern and classic cocktails. Highlights include the Noble Margarita with Gran Centenario Plata and lime agave, Spritz Your Game with Aperol and coconut, and Flashy Ways, blending Grey Goose with prosecco. Non-alcoholic options like Feels So Good with Seedlip and mint are also on offer. The wine list focuses on sustainable Italian-American selections, alongside American wines and Champagne to complement the menu.

Sparrow Italia Miami can seat 232 guests in its 8,700-square-foot space, designed by Kobi Karp. Inside, there's a stone-topped bar and decor with glass bottles, the space includes blue velvet, Venetian plaster, carved wood, and brass accents. The dining room features arched booths with colorful ropes and large wood arches. Take a look inside below.

Next up, Noble 33 will open Casa Madera, a coastal Mexican restaurant with European touches, as its second Miami restaurant. The group also plans to open Toca Madera and Meduza Mediterrania in 2025, adding to its South Florida footprint. The group even announced that 1587 Prime, an American steakhouse restaurant in partnership with football pros Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, planning to debut will in Kansas City in 2025.

Sparrow Italia Miami is located at 255 NW 25th Street in Wynwood and will be open Tuesday to Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, visit here.
