As a top Hollywood stylist, Jamie Mizrahi's mastered the art of a master plan.

The wardrobe whiz — who works with celebrities including Adele, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicky Hilton and Riley Keough — tells Page Six Style that "plotting and planning" clients' looks is her "favorite part of the job."

"I start by having a conversation with them and really understanding who they are. I like to know what makes them feel comfortable," says Mizrahi, who recently collaborated with fashion brand Brochu Walker.

"We talk about the project at hand [and] send images back and forth, [followed] by a Pinterest board."

It's safe to say the resultant looks often get their own place of honor on Pinterest — and in fans' shopping carts, much like her recent collection of designs exuding "elevated ease."

After all, while we can't all get a personal styling session with Mizrahi, shopping her favorites just might be the next best thing. Below, the style pro reveals the four fashion essentials she recommends for a star-worthy wardrobe — and how to style them all for fall.

"This speaks for itself. It's so versatile; you can wear it with a pair of jeans, pants or a skirt. It instantly makes any look feel polished. My recommendation is to size up and let it be oversized. I absolutely love The Kate Shirt; it's such an easy piece to wear that looks so polished and put together."

"Jeans are a staple in my closet, and I think every closet needs a good pair of jeans (or a few). Right now I'm loving a baggier straight-leg jean like the Toteme Wide-Leg Jeans. I love to pair them with a button-down [and] a sweater over the shoulders."
