HOLLYWOOD, FLA. (WSVN) - Rescue crews took a child to the hospital after, police said, the young victim came under fire in a Hollywood neighborhood.
Hollywood Police and Fire Rescue units responded to the scene of the shooting in the area of South Park Road and Fifth Street, Thursday night.
Detectives said the victim and the shooter got into an argument, resulting in the victim being shot in the head.
Paramedics transported the patient to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Police classified the shooting as an isolated incident, and the child is excepted to survive.
No arrests have been made as of Friday evening.
