Meet the Real Life Loves of Your Favorite Celebrity Chefs

Though many of these star chefs have made names for themselves cooking up delicious meals on camera — at home, they each have a special someone to share their love — and recipes! — with.

From Ina and Jeffrey Garten's decades long relationship — which she opens up about in this week's issue of PEOPLE — to Gordon and Tana Ramsey's family of eight, see more about the loved ones of these celebrity chefs.

Ina Garten's relationship to her longtime husband Jeffrey dates back to the '60s when the Barefoot Contessa chef was just 15 years old. The two dated for five years and in 1968 tied the knot in her parents' backyard.

In her upcoming memoir, Be Ready When the Luck Happens, Ina opens up for the first time about a rough patch she and Jeffrey hit in their marriage in the 1970s while she was running her Barefoot Contessa store in New York's Hamptons and he was working in Washington D.C.

"There were certain roles that we played, and I found them really annoying," Ina told PEOPLE. "I felt that if I just hit the pause button, I would get his attention."

Ina asked Jeffrey for a separation — a decision she calls "the hardest thing I ever did" — though the two would reconcile after he agreed to see a therapist.

"He was that determined to convince me he was serious about making our marriage work," she writes.

Rachael Ray married John Cusimano in 2005 in Tuscany.

"John and I didn't meet until later in life, and didn't get married until we were almost 40. We knew who we were. We've always been that way, for 20 years. We don't take it too much to heart when one person just has to vent or blow up. We're very good at being quiet also, with each other," Ray explained to PEOPLE in 2021. "We don't look for there to be constant chatter. And we're very good with giving each other space to work on our passions."

Though Gordon Ramsey might be famous for being a bit harsh on television, he's really a family man at heart. Ramsey shares six children with his wife Tana, whom he married in 1996.

"Date nights are crucial, whether it's the cinema, whether it's going out for a drive. We have a little time, but it's quality, and so that is really important," Gordon told PEOPLE earlier this year of how he and Tana keep the spark going while raising children with a two-decade age gap.

The couple welcomed their first daughter, Megan, in 1998 and later fraternal twins, daughter Holly and son Jack in 1999,  Matilda in 2001; Oscar in 2019 and son Jesse James in 2023.

Giada De Laurentiis and producer Shane Farley started dating almost 10 years ago in 2015, following the Giada at Home star's divorce from Todd Thompson.

"I got lucky that I could find somebody relatively quickly after getting divorced," De Laurentiis, who shares daughter Jade with Thompson, told PEOPLE in 2022. "It's so far so good, which is lucky for me because when you're a single mom and you work, it could be tricky to find somebody that can accept that life."
