Celebrity Skincare Expert Toska Husted Opens A Chic New Salon In Miami

While I'm always up for trying new skincare products, I'm far more selective when it comes to facials. Though I've been fortunate enough to experience all kinds, from classic European facials to four-figure face-slapping sessions, only one aesthetician has retained my loyalty these past few years.

Born in Kosovo, trained in London, and based in Charlotte, Toska Husted has steadily built her brand since opening her first salon in North Carolina's biggest city in 2016. Though she's best known as an in-demand facialist for the world's most photographed celebrities (think: Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Aniston) it's her refreshingly gentle and personable demeanor that makes everyday people like me put our trust in her.

Rather than enlist a signature approach like many of her colleagues, Toska and her skilled team evaluate every client with fresh eyes so no two facials are alike. She explains, "We combine advanced technology, curated skincare, and personalized consultations to create bespoke treatments for tailored, lasting results." Demand for Toska's highly personalized and results-driven touch has grown so much she decided to expand to other Southern cities. Dallas and Nashville are slated to open in 2025, while Miami recently opened to much fanfare with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Mayor of Coral Gables Vince Lago.

Located in posh Coral Gables, which Toska adores for its "ability to combine European charm with modern urban life," the newest location bears some of Charlotte's hallmarks. Both feature six chairs for Toska's popular facial bar mini-treatments—perfect if you're short on time or don't have the budget to splurge on a full treatment—diamond pendant lights, and immaculate displays of luxe products from Biologique Recherc he and Valmont, but Miami thoughtfully introduces design elements nodding to the city's lush landscape. Among Toska's favorite details is a stunning bas-relief wall depicting tropical flora by local artists The Color Dreamers.

As for the treatments, Toska says Miami's menu mirrors Charlotte's, but focuses more on addressing the effects of sun damage and humidity. And if it's your visit to the spa and you're unsure where to start, Toska recommends a signature facial. "It includes a detailed skin analysis and a tailored treatment plan to provide effective results from the start," she says. "This sets the foundation for a customized skincare journey."
