These Celebrity Kids Are Carbon Copies of Their Parents

Families are just as often knit together via love, not genes, but sometimes the genetic resemblance is just too striking to ignore. Case in point? How about the dozens of celebrity kids who look exactly like their parents, so much so that the word "twin" instantly comes to mind. And while there's no shortage of lookalike family members who aren't famous, spending your life in the spotlight means fans are all but guaranteed to take note.

Actors, models, and musicians achieve celebrity status via a number of different avenues, but their kids are basically guaranteed to be haunted by their nepo baby status from day one. That said, there are plenty of upsides to looking exactly like, say, Reese Witherspoon or Brooke Shields. Ahead, 12 celebrity kids who are carbon copies of their very famous parents.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin famously orchestrated a "conscious uncoupling" back in 2014, but now it's their daughter, Apple Martin, who's taking center stage. In an Oprah interview that aired just a few months after Apple was born, Paltrow revealed why she and Chris choose the name for their daughter:

"Basically it was because, when we were first pregnant, her daddy said one day, if it's a girl I think her name should be Apple, and it just sounded so sweet and it conjures such a lovely picture for me, you know apples are so sweet and they're wholesome and it's biblical and I just thought it sounded so lovely, and then she was born and it became an international outrage, which I found surprising because there are people named Rose or Lily or Ivy or June or lots of pretty nouns."
