Faye Winter gushes over 'Jungle Queen' Maura Higgins in sweet message (

Love Island star Faye Winter paid tribute to the 'kindest, funniest, most genuine' woman she's ever met - Maura Higgins.
Maura is a fan-favourite on I'm A Celebrity, making viewers at home with her witty commentary and 'sorry father' jokes to Reverend Richard Coles. During a Q&A session on Instagram, Faye was asked if she was 'proud' of her pal Maura. She shared a selfie taken with the Irish icon and answered the follower.
She wrote: "So proud. What a woman! She's the kindest, funniest, most genuine, authentic, funny women I've ever met. I'm lucky to know her let alone and call her a friend. Keep voting all. Jungle Queen!" In the snap, Faye had her arm around Maura's neck as she pouted for the camera. Maura looked glamourous as she showed off her pearly whites.
She was also asked 'who's your king of the jungle'. Faye answered: "I was lucky to do MasterChef with Danny and we had the best time! Such a funny, caring down to earth soul!" She also shared her second choice, writing: "Maura because she's my pride of Britain husband."

According to reports, the pair had to be separated during a furious backstage row at the TV awards show which was witnessed by a room full of guests. But Maura hit back at claims - with fellow former Love Island star Faye also denying any boozy fallout took place.
Maura, who wore a daring gown that showed off her enviable body, took to Instagram not long after the awards show and captioned a screenshot of a report on her alleged flight with Faye: "Borrrringgg!!!! Can't have a passionate conversation without people videoing and press trying to turn women against one another....ILY@faye_winter mo drama here."
In the video shared online, Maura and Faye can be seen jabbing fingers at each other during the heated row as Maura was overheard shouting: "Don't you point your finger at me!" But desperate to show a united front, Faye, 28 also responded to the reports and commented on Maura's post. The TV personality simply wrote: "I mean she calls me a silly cow most days and she ain't wrong and I can confirm no designer shoes were disrespected in the conversation."
