Kailyn Lowry 'Severely Uncomfortable' After Major Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic surgery might come with a glow-up, but the recovery? Not so glamorous. Just ask Kailyn Lowry, who is five days post-op and keeping it real about the pain.

On Saturday, February 1, the 32-year-old Teen Mom alum took to TikTok to share that she's struggling after a tummy tuck revision.

"I'm severely uncomfortable," she admitted while strolling down a hallway in her home. "I'm trying to taper down on pain meds. Don't want to get addicted."

Lowry went on to say that her friend Sterling Black was there to help her take a shower. "And then I'm gonna do lymphatic massage," she explained. "But I am getting around, it's just a little — a little uncomfortable."

Despite the discomfort, the New York Times bestselling author wanted to clear up any misconceptions about her procedure. "I did not do a butt transfer or BBL or anything like that," she said. However, because her tummy tuck revision was combined with her C-section scar, she noted, "I have severe bruising in my butt cheek."

Wrapping up her video, Lowry shared some words of wisdom for anyone considering surgery. "No matter what surgery you get, make sure you take laxatives or Miralax or whatever else," she advised, later revealing her go-to recovery drink — "prune juice mixed with Miralax."

After posting to social media, it didn't take long for reactions to flood the comments section.

"❤️I love your transparency! 🙏 for a quick recovery beautiful!!" one person wrote.

"You must have a high pain tolerance! I wish I had that," pointed out another.

"Kail I just love how real you are ❤️," chimed in a third.

"I'm dying to see the results. Stop teasing us 🤣🤣🤣" someone else joked.

"Take your pain meds as prescribed! You NEED them going thru this pain. Don't torture yourself love," another urged.

This all comes just a month after Lowry opened up about her struggles with body image following breast reduction surgery.

"I had a very, very emotional morning, mainly just when I was taking a shower," she shared in a Get Ready With Me Instagram Reel on Monday, January 6. "I pray that my kids never struggle with their body images enough to mutilate their bodies to be skinny."

The podcaster, who first rose to fame on 16 & Pregnant in 2010, is now a mom of seven. She shares 1-year-old twins Verse and Valley and 2-year-old son Rio with her fiancé, Elijah Scott. She is also mom to Isaac, 15, with ex Jo Rivera; Lincoln, 11, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin; and Lux, 7, and Creed, 4, with ex Chris Lopez.
