Sean "Diddy" Combs watches as his defence lawyer Brian Steel cross-examines Los Angeles Police Department Officer Christopher Ignacio
This morning, we've been hearing from several officials who are testifying about the alleged arson of Kid Cudi's car in 2012, which first came up in the trial last week.
On the stand was LA arson investigator Lance Jimenez, who investigated Kid Cudi's car after it was burned. He's now returned to the stand to give further evidence.
Before returning, attorneys were arguing about prosecutors' questions about the destruction of fingerprints at the scene of Kid Cudi's car fire.
Combs's defence team moved for a mistrial because of the questions, arguing the court couldn't "un-ring that bell" - in other words they would still be wondering whether Combs had something to do with it.
In the end, the judge rejected the mistrial and gave jurors an instruction to disregard the questioning and not infer anything from it.
