The Hollywood Reporter Scores Record Number of Noms at National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards, Including Best Publication

The Hollywood Reporter has been nominated for a record number of National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards, including best publication.

Among THR's 85 noms, Mia Galuppo and Katie Kilkenny are vying for print journalist of the year, James Hibberd and Gary Baum are among the best columnist nominees, Scott Feinberg is up for best podcast host, and Jon Frosch, Dan Fienberg, Angie Han and David Rooney all landed noms for best critic.

In the photography and art categories, THR landed noms for its photos of newly minted Oscar winner Mikey Madison (best portrait), 50 Cent (best portrait), the L.A. fires (best photo essay) and more. The art department earned noms for its covers of the fires and Hollywood's succession wars along with moving graphics of Ben Stiller and The White Lotus, among others.

The Hollywood Reporter's nominations highlight the breadth and variety of its work across multiple media platforms. The noms span multiple categories, from print to digital, video to photo, podcast to social media, graphics to design and more. They also highlight THR's exemplary reporting and storytelling across breaking news, investigations, features, commentary, obituaries, profiles and more.

In addition, Phoebe Eaton was nominated for the David Robb Investigative Award, with carries a $5,000 cash prize, for "Anonymous No More: Inside the Complicated Life of Harvey Weinstein's Key Accuser." And Rebecca Sun will vie for Native Americans in the Arts and Entertainment honor, which also comes with a $500 cash prize, for "'Write for Your Communities, Don't Write for the White Man': Inside the Sundance Native Lab."

The awards, overseen by the Los Angeles Press Club, will be handed out at the NAEJ awards gala, set for Dec. 7.

Also at the ceremony, the Press Club will present Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen with the Visionary Award. Marlee Matlin will receive the Impact Award, and LAist's Larry Mantle will be honored with the Luminary Award for Career Achievement.
