The Avengers has landed in London. And Berlin. And Hong Kong. And…

The rollout of the all-star comic-book movie is continuing, even as the first box-office returns are coming in.

And Harry Potter, of all fictional people, is enjoying the view.

RELATED: Guess where you can't see The Avengers right now?

In its biggest overseas bow on Wednesday, The Avengers roughly grossed an estimated $6 million in Australia, and as you'll recall from your Aussie box-office history, that's a lot of money. The take is, in fact, the country's second-biggest-ever opening.

Which brings us to the Boy Who Lived.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 still holds the mark for Australia's biggest-ever opening.

So, no, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, the Hulk and Scarlett Johansson together couldn't take down one single, super-sized Potter.

In Australia, that is.

In Taiwan, where The Avengers also opened Wednesday, the film became that country's biggest opening-anything, a feat first reported by Deadline.com.

The early bottom line: The Avengers is winning.

And all the U.S.-based fanboys who have to wait until May 4 to see the film in theaters are the only ones who are losing.
