LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Kristen Stewart goes topless in her latest film, âOn The Roadâ (a big screen adaptation of Jack Kerouacâs famed book), but the actress says she wasnât nervous about the on-screen nudity, thanks to director Walter Salles.
âIt didnât bother me,â Kristen, 22, told MTV News at the Toronto International Film Festival of her exposed scenes in the movie. âYou can do no wrong with [Salles]. He puts so much inside of you.
âIn the four-week rehearsal process, it was okay to ask any question, to bring up any story, to really overanalyze everything and intellectualize everything,â she added.
The actress, who will next been seen in the final âTwilightâ installment, âBreaking Dawn â" Part 2,â said she and her âOn The Roadâ co-stars (Garrett Hedlund, Kirsten Dunst and Sam Riley) were completely entrenched in their roles and so prepared that they were given the freedom to improvise lines for their characters â" a feat she found more intimidating than going topless.
âOnce we got to set, it was so about just breathing and letting it happen. He put so much trust in us,â she said of her director. âSo it was like, âOK, so I have to take my clothes off?â Itâs so not a big [deal].â
âOn The Roadâ is slated to hit theaters on December 21.
