Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona has taken aim at this year's Celebrity Big Brother stars as she pointed out the irony of those who criticised her for reality TV stints

Kerry Katona has hit out at Celebrity Big Brother stars who previously looked down on her for doing reality TV.

The Atomic Kitten star has taken part in a number of reality TV shows over the years including I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, Celebrity Big Brother and Celebs Go Dating. She's also starred in Dancing on Ice, Celebrity Cooking School, Celebs on the Farm and Celeb SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Kerry has been enjoying ITV's Celebrity Big Brother but couldn't resist hitting out at the crop of stars in a recent interview. The TV personality was a runner-up in 2011 when she took part in series eight of Celebrity Big Brother.

She said: "I do think it's funny to see these celebs in CBB who used to look down on me for doing reality TV. The tables have turned." The TV personality has a notoriously difficult relationship with This Morning and the-then hosts Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton. Kerry appeared on the ITV show in 2009 and is still "ridiculed" for slurring her words during the interview.

Viewers accused her of being drunk but she claimed it was because of the medication she was on for bipolar disorder at the time. Despite the controversial chat, Kerry told New Magazine she's "enjoyed watching Fern" – which she admitted is "surprising coming from me".

"But I don't hold onto things and I think she is coming across well," she added. Meanwhile, Kerry recently hit out at Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu during an Instagram Live, in which she blasted the Love Island winner as "two-faced".

Ekin-Su nominated Louis for eviction despite being close friends with him in the house. The Love Island star subsequently hit out at her housemate Marisha Wallace for nominating her despite their friendship.

She fumed: "How two-faced is Ekin-Su? Oh my God, I can't believe how two faced... What a game player are you She was so far up Louis Walsh's a**e while Sharon Osbourne was there. Then she's turned on him. You see, I love Louis. I love Louis to bits. But I know what Louis' like. I love him and I get him."
