Bristol Palin: 'I'm Doing A Terrible Job Raising Tripp' - Entertainmentwise

Bristol Palin: 'I'm Doing Struggling To Raise Tripp'

During the latest episode of Bristol Palins reality show Life's A Tripp, viewers couldn't quite believe it when Tripp, the four-year-old son of Bristol and grandson of Canadian politician Sarah Palin, blurted out the expletive when told he wasn't allowed to use the hotel swimming pool.

The foul mouthed toddler caused outrage amongst fans who took to social media sites in a frenzied attack on Bristol and her apparently poor parenting skills. It was initially thought that Tripp had used a different 'F word', a word more commonly used as a slur against homosexuals however a runner on the show who was there at the time insisted Tripp simply used the four letter 'F word' as opposed to the other comparably more derogatory word.

Writing on her blog, Bristol attempted to calm the baying mob by saying “"As I've said before, I sometimes struggle to raise Tripp, however, he does NOT use slurs.”

The 21 year old added: "Let me be clear. I'm not proud of what he did say. Sadly, he used a different 'f word. Lifetime filmed over 12 months (on and off) and they caught a moment on film that would cause any parent to be red in the face."

Bristol continued on her blog: "Tripp is always surrounded by adults - around the campfires with cousins and their friends, at the shop with my dad and his snowmachine buddies. He's apparently picked up some language that I'd prefer he not use. On national television or at home.”

Considering her family have been publicly open about their opinions on gay marriage, it seems entirely plausible that Tripp could have used the the other F word. Bristol isn't a stranger to this kind of media storm, as back in 2010 she caused upset by calling one of her class mates a f****t for talking negatively about her mothers show, Sarah Palin's Alaska.

What do you think about baby Tripp's outburst? Do you think Bristol dealt with it in the correct way?

And here's Bristol's mother - you must remember Sarah Palin...
